Once a series of disused rooms in a damp cellar. The 1860 Interiors team opened up the rooms to make a main area with a small room behind it. Bespoke seating was fitted to one end with velvet seats and cushions. Two small Italian tables with leather swivel armchairs were placed opposite. We made a bar area with dark oak timber and white painted glass top complimented with stools that replicated the armchairs so keeping the same theme. A wine cooler was positioned within the bar. Large format Italian porcelain tiles were laid on the floor and polished plaster applied to the walls set off with Artemide wall lights. A glass panel Italian door was fitted to give access to the second room where we built a wine cellar using natural oak. Mirrors were fitted to the walls behind the wine storage area and led strip lights to illuminate the bottles .
